Who are the facilitators?
Your KiwiBoss facilitator is employment lawyer Julia Shallcrass, who will give you practical guidance on how to reduce legal risk, while improving performance and team results.
What will I learn?
- Week 1 – Motivating Staff to Succeed
- Week 2 – Effective Delegation and Supervision
- Week 3 – Performance Feedback and Reviews
- Week 4 – Managing Poor Performers
How will I Learn?
- You will view short online videos within each module (total of around 1 hour for videos in each Module). These videos are online and recorded. You can view these videos at your own pace.
- Complete the Activities in the digital workbook which is fillable online.
- Attend live group coaching to discuss Activities in our weekly Zoom session. These sessions are not recorded.
- View the 1 hour Q&A webinar, on demand at your own pace. These webinars are recorded.
- You will view short online videos within each module (total of around 1 hour for videos in each Module). These videos are online and recorded. You can view these videos at your own pace.
- Complete the Activities in the digital workbook which is fillable online.

When can I attend the live group coaching?
During the 4-week course, you can join our employment law presenter Julia Shallcrass for live training in our Zoom sessions:
Activity sessions – live and virtual, approx. 1.5 - 2 hours in duration.
Purpose: The Activity sessions focus on the activities you have completed in your workbook. These sessions give you the opportunity to engage with other participants and relevant issues in live group coaching.
Are the Activity sessions recorded?
We do not record these Activity sessions to maintain your confidentiality during these sessions.
When? The public Activity sessions will take place at 11 AM:
• on Wednesdays for the course starting in June 2024
• on Thursdays for the course starting in August 2024

How long do I have to access the videos and Q&A webinars?
You can view all videos for 3 years guaranteed from date of purchasing the Leader’s Guide. You may pay for updates to course materials.
How do I access the downloadable workbook with templates?
You can access the downloadable workbooks under the “Materials” section on each module. The workbooks include checklists on delegation and performance reviews, coaching and performance review templates, complete practical activities, and much more.
Can I print the workbook?
Yes, you can print the workbook or complete it online and save it to your desktop.
How can I access more coaching and training?
We offer individual coaching and inhouse coaching through Zoom, at the following rates as at the date of these terms:
$697 plus GST for individual coaching on course modules – 3 x 1 hour sessions of online individual coaching
$1497 plus GST for inhouse coaching on course modules – 4 x 1 hour online coaching session of up to 10 attendees

Do I receive a Certificate of completion for CPD points?
Yes, we will give you a certificate of completion for successfully completing the programme – provided you attain 75% correct score on quizzes in all of the modules. You can take the test for each quiz more than once. The certificate is for 14 hours CPD.
